Terms of Service

Welcome to e-Gate AI ("e-Gate", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the e-Gate AI website, dashboard and API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

e-Gate AI is a middleware platform that exposes hundreds of AI models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and others) through a single OpenAI-compatible API. We operate the gateway, billing and dashboard, but we do not own, train or operate the underlying models. Model outputs are generated by third-party providers and are not reviewed, verified or endorsed by us.

2. AI Content Disclaimer — Important

Artificial intelligence model outputs are generated by algorithms and may contain errors, inaccuracies, biases or harmful content. e-Gate AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, legality or appropriateness of any AI-generated output. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and deciding how to use any output. You should not rely on AI outputs for critical decisions without human review. We strongly recommend that you do not submit sensitive personal information, medical data, legal documents or financial records through the API.

3. Accounts and registration

You must register an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, whether authorised by you or not. You must provide accurate, current and complete information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that use false information or engage in abusive behaviour.

4. Credits, prepayment and pricing

The Service is prepaid: you top up credit into your wallet and are charged only for tokens actually used, at the price shown in the dashboard. Credit never expires. Prices are calculated as reference price × (1 + profit percentage) and may change at any time; changes do not affect credit already in your wallet. Creating an API key reserves its budget from your wallet; deleting the key automatically refunds the unused portion.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose. This includes: infringing the rights of others; generating or distributing harmful, malicious, illegal, harassing or fraudulent content; spam or phishing; attempting to bypass limits, quotas or security controls; reselling the Service without our written consent; or using the Service to train competing models. We may suspend access, freeze credit or terminate accounts that violate this section without prior notice.

6. API keys and security

API keys are shown in full only once at creation; you are responsible for storing them securely. Treat keys like passwords — anyone with your key can use your credit. If a key is compromised, delete it immediately and create a new one. We are not liable for unauthorised usage caused by a leaked or stolen key.

7. Intellectual property

The Service interface, documentation, software and branding belong to e-Gate or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the content you submit through the API, and you warrant that you have all necessary rights to that content. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Third-party providers

API requests are routed to the model provider that serves the model you call. Each provider has its own terms, privacy policies and content policies. e-Gate AI is not responsible for the actions, policies or availability of any third-party provider. If a provider changes its pricing, terms or discontinues a model, we will update the Service as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Availability and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the accuracy, reliability or quality of any output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, e-Gate AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business or goodwill arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or as required by law. Upon termination, any unused credit balance is forfeited except where prohibited by applicable law. You may request an export of your usage and wallet history before termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes take effect fourteen (14) days after posting; continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any dispute arising from the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
